Getting to talk to Solaris and her fambly at Cape, and then DarkBlade at Seattle, I was struck by what awesome, fierce women they are. No wonder I always liked them as posters!

You guys are cool and the family is cool, too!

Even if the little guy fell asleep at the table!

They are exceedingly awesome.

It is a measure of the high regard in which we hold DarkBlade that she managed to persuade both me and Dreadstar to consent to wear those poofy Ren Faire shirts when we stood up with her and Tadhg at their wedding. Believe me, for us to do that, after years of being snarky about cosplay people at conventions... that's real affection.

yes, they do, indeed, rock.

and just wait until you get the chance to meet Meg (ChibiStarJumper). . . she's just as awesome.

it's those Solaris loins, I tell ya!. . they just churn out (or, in Troy's case attract), the awesome-sauce!

They are pretty cool, but to achieve true awesome status, they need to post the rest of the pics from Cape.
