I would like to see the stories where he went nuts and became the crime buster, after killing the 3 kryptons. Then he went exploring the galaxy
Reason is I never read those
Always sounded interesting.

I'd like to see The Fall of Metropolis collected. Would make a nice companion trade with They Saved Luthor's Brain, showcasing the beginning and ending of the "Lex Luthor II" era in the Superman books.

If they keep up the "Man of Steel" TPBs they're putting out now (I think they're at volume six or so), they'll be getting into some stories I enjoyed pretty soon.

I'm hoping that once the Man of Steel trades are wrapped up, they'll keep it going with the Jurgens/Stern/Ordway/etc. era. The serialized nature of those books are just screaming for a series of trades.
As far as specific stories go, I'm dying to see Battle of Metropolis/Fall of Metropolis, which was a much superior "fall of Luthor" story than what Loeb eventually gave us in Superman/Batman and was probably the height of the Triangle era. I'm also interested in reading Dead Again! once more, since it was a fun idea (having Superman question whether he's the real Superman or just another imposter).

The whole milestone/superman crossover was never collected , was it ?
Yeah , the dead again storyline was fun as superman goes through some of his rogue gallery trying to find out who's messing with him.
Was the "Ending Battle" storyline ever collected ? The one where a host of villains all attacked superman's friends.
Don't think "the King of the world" storyline was ever collected as well . The one where Dominus trap superman in a host of alternate realities from a golden age era superman , a silver age era superman and a future age era superman and then influenced superman to take over the world.

The exploring the galaxy bit is collected in Superman: Exile

I'd like to see a Best of Superman Team-Ups, from DC Comics Presents, World's Finest, and Superman's guest appearances in other books, as well as heroes appearing in HIS books (same thing for Batman).
I USED to have a Greatest Brainiac Stories wish, but they're granting it! :)
I'd like to see a Best of Kandor TPB, with the best stories in the Bottle City.
Superman Split In Two (1982 serial)
Superman Virus X (1968 serial)
There's a WHOLE lot more I'd like to see! :)

Lord Satanus and his sister Blaze learned about a spell that would grant the spell-caster immeasurable power, but it needed to be focused through a mortal body. They came from the distant past to get Superman, because the energies would destroy the mortal vessel, and render the spell useless, and neither would gain the power.
In their attempt to kidnap Superman, a power blast from one or both demons struck Superman, and he split in two. One had his power of flight, speed, and strength. The other had the vision powers and invulnerability. Superman tried to get back into the past to save his other self, but all avenues (Atom's Time Pool, Flash's Treadmill, and Legion Bubble) were rendered useless by the demons.
The entire arc ran for nine issues (nine months) in Action Comics in 1982, and was by Marv Wolfman, Mike W. Barr, Gil Kane, and Curt Swan. I enjoyed the story very much. :)

I was intrigued so i did a little search , i believe it should be from action comics issue 534 to 541. (issue 535-536 has nothing to do with the storyline). It wasn't Blaze though , it was a sorceress syrene and the pre-crisis version of lord satanus - lord satanis. Blaze was a post crisis creation.

This reminds me , there was a pre-crisis superman story that i never did finished and was curious as to how it ends. It was one where the superman comics crossover with the superboy comics at that time , superman was going to the timestream at the same time superboy was going and it caused a cosmic mixup which resulted in superman ending up in superboy's body and superboy ending up in superman's body. It was a 6-7 part storyline if i'm not wrong , i only got like the first 2 parts in the superman comics. Superboy in superman's body was immediately attracted to adult Lana and blew off Lois which of course did not sit well with both women.

That's the best overall period of Superman comics for sure. At least until his death

Marshall, the Superman-Superboy story you mention ALSO took place in 1982, in Superman's title and Superboy's book.
The Superboy segment was only for one issue, but SuperMAN'S part was 3 parts in Superman's book.
Superboy finally explained to Lois Lane what happened, and she and he both realized the only way to get things back to the way they were was for Superboy to go through the time stream again. Superboy found out Superman not only had come to the same conclusion, but was WAITING for him in the time stream.
They passed through each other, and their minds went to the right bodies. :)
Superman then defeated the new foe who'd given Superboy quite a hard time.
Oh, and the serial I was talkin' 'bout earlier? It DID cover the issues you think it skipped! Superman was fighting crime in the present-day in several issues, and didn't get back to his other self until Chapter 8.

Hi , i would defer to you since you have actually read the story.
Thanks for letting me know the conclusion of that superman/superboy crossover , i was mildly curious as to how it ended since as i mentioned , i only got the 2 superman issues.
