well, ever since mark waid (im really sorry) sucked on writing the flash, things hasnt been well for wally. i mean, kids can die anytime, neglecting jla, being a super thief, kidnapped kids, upcoming issue that features this was your life, wally west, and possibly something else bad. really bad. am i the only who thinks that wally will be a darker hero or *knocks on wood* finally turn evil?
if that happens, that would be a perfect reason for *knocks on wood* barry to help wally the third time and end his misery (ok that was farfetched). but that's a good excuse for barry to permanently return though.
