I'm watching an old episode of The Dana Carvey Show, the hilarious, short-lived sketch comedy program that got canceled after 7 episodes. They did a take-off on the MTV game show Singled Out with the Unabomber as the contestant and Selma Blair is one of the eliminated girls. She wasn't featured or anything so I assume this was back in her bit-part days. She was hamming it up though!

The end.

ps. The show also featured the first TV appearances by Stephen Colbert and Steve Carrell. Just as funny as they are now.

Colbert and Carrell are funny? I didn't realize. Thanks for the headsup.

I don't know what you think of as funny but if you don't think those fellas are, you're out of your mind.

Thanks for the headsup.

The one sponsored by Sezchuan Dynasty. (Each episode is front-sponsored by a product.)

Rats! in reference to:
Sorry, currently our video library can only be streamed from within the United States.
Hulu is committed to making its content available worldwide. To do so, we must work through a number of legal and business issues, including obtaining international streaming rights.
Now I may never find out about:
if you don't think those fellas are, you're out of your mind.
Raaaaaaaaatts...

I know, I know, I don't seem like the type but my life is filled with ridiculous crushes.

When I was in elementary school I had a mackin' crush on the pink ranger.

There is nothing wrong with that.

I just caught an old episode of The Adventures of Pete and Pete and Selma happened to be the vegetarian love interest of Big Pete.

I love the early 90s.

Oh yeah, Rangers... Those kind of slid beyond me & my childhood.
I had Battle of the Planets 'though (around 1980) and the beyond swell (non animal) 'Takarajima' (R.L. Stevenson Treasure Island anime) around 1982.
And in my kindergarten days I had lots of rather instinctive crushes, on real live girls only, preferably over 3 years older! - I was pretty cool then if I may say:confused:.
Nowadays I wouldn't dream of steppin' up to a chick who can ride a bike and say something catchy like "I have a shovel...!" to then smack her one right on the cheeky:cool:.

EDIT: By smack I mean a wet one of course, the shovel being for showoff/diggin' only...

Seriously, who didn't?

When I was in elementary school I had a huge crush on the chick from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

haha..kids.

Thanks sir. Right before you posted I felt really old, upon reading E.'s Sabrina crush post, as I thought of how I sort of dug her mother.
Maybe 'cause she's pretty but also 'cause of a resemblance to the super old show "Bewitched" with one Elizabeth Montgomery who seemed (in what, 1968?) a really cool person both as very stunning (like Princess Leia).

And petriacce, you shake out your crushes rather easily if I may say.

My first really big crush was Christina Applegate. I think I had three different posters up on the wall of her.

That famous poster of her with the snake and falcon was the cover of my pre-Algebra book in 7th grade. :)

I had that one, one where she is wearing all black, and another in white. But that was my favorite.

I would have killed to see an Erin Grey/Lynda Carter slow-motion pillow fight back in the late 70s.

Scarecrow and Mrs. King! Ah, the memories all flooding back.More Charlie's Angels...she was a mom in the other show and that tended to knock down the hotness level when I was younger.

Hey, I'm older but still capable of dreaming.

Yes. Nothing but some good honest awe was meant petriacce, caused by my thankfulness for such promptly sharing of what will be cherished heartfelt stirrings. (I wouldn't dare question either your dreams or your aptitude for them, 'though I may have proven so forward as to commend them for abundance.)

Be sure I mean no ill will when it comes to matters such as 'television memories'.
