Okay, sorry for such a crummy thread but I need to ask some people who know about comics this question.

I just read The killing joke, which was friggin awesome. I've always liked Joker and Harley but never really cared for Batman himself. Killing joke was perfect for me, then. Other than Arkam asylum, are there any other batman books that're mostly about Joker and Harly?

Thanks for ya' help!

Woah, that was fast!
Thanks a lot! I remember Harley fondly from the 90's cartoon. I've actually never read anything with her in it, I don't think. I'll check it out!

The best Joker story will be this summer's The Dark Knight, but I don't think Nolan will put anything as silly and stupid and unbelievable as Harley Quinn in it.

Sorry.

Argh, harley had a 40-something part series of her own!? Did that all come out in books, or would I need to hunt it all down to read it?

Thanks! I did see that around but since it was the only one i thought they might not be doing the rest. But you're right, amazon said it came out this year so there could be more later on, I guess. (Been a long while since January though...)

There was also a Harley and Ivy mini-series that has been collected in TPB.

The Joker had his own series that ran for 9 issues in the 1970s. It's not collected anywhere, although one story made it into The Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told TPB.

I remember it. The Creeper issue was good, so was the one with Green Arrow and Black Canary.

I would assume that they'll get around to doing the whole series. But, one never knows....

I enjoyed Superman: Emporer Joker

Also, there were comics based on the animated series. Several issues of those had Joker/Harley tales. A fairly recent Justice League Unlimited comic had Joker and Harley infiltrate the watchtower for shenanigans as well.

Are there any other good Joker/Harley Quinn stories? I've been watching Batman TAS recently, and those two are an amazing duo, I think.

the Harley and Ivy trade is cool.

also if you can find the Harley Quinn one shot with the alex ross joker/harley cover, it's very good stuff.

I've never gotten my mitts on a copy of Mad Love, except for the DCAU adaptation...are there enough differences to warrant a pursuit of a copy? i've never seen it but I suppose I could ebay it?

Uh... There is no DCU edition of "Mad Love." Unless you mean you've never seen the comic, just the episode that was based on the comic. In that case, yes, the comic is slightly more risque.

when I say DCAU adaptation I mean the animated cartoon version as opposed to the comic, that while is still technically part of the DCAU, is a comic.

i'll have to ebay it then
