Nah, we don't need MJ as Jackpot at all.....she is great as a supporting character which is how I fel in love with her in the first place. You can be a great character and not have to be a costumed hero; let MJ just gradually be that great supporting character as she was from the time she was introduced until the wedding in 1987; that's good enough for me!! (BTW, I am not sure that Marvel knew---though they may know now----whether or not they wanted MJ to be Jackpot when they conceived and launched BND. Think they wanted to test the waters and had a back door planned just in case).

This would be a horrible move for her character. While OMD separated them and removed MJ having her be Jackpot would make me hate her. What always made her so special was that she did not have powers. Like to see it stay that way.

I'd like to see it just because it's something different. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. I would've like to see her become Jackpot during the marriage just because it would've put a new spin on things and there's a few years worth of stories that could be told. Plus if it doesn't work it could easily be done away with.

There's a good idea in there. MJ really shouldnt be a hero, but there's plenty you can tell with MJ taking Ehret's place without powers and living the life of a regular girl trying to match a public image.

I just dont want this to feel like fans are being ripped off and the investment in Jackpot is already lacking something it had when it began at the height of BND speculation.

I can see it as a part of MJ bargin with Mephisto, now stay with me here....

Let say MJ wanted to see what Peter's hero life was like, and volia Jackpot is born.

Now I can say that it could be Sara Erhet in disguise, but I could also say that Mephisto can magically make MJ Jackpot at the sign of trouble and have her complete the Adventure and become MJ again with little memories of the events.

So sure I can see MJ as Jackpot because it would just prove to me that BND was full of rehashedSpidey stories and silly cliches and plotpoints of past moments. :tongue:
