The Busted Knuckles Challenge To Marvel And DC Comics.
The Gauntlet Has Been Thrown. Who Will Pick It Up?
Ceredo, WV. (June 14, 2008)—Knights of old when challenging another to a fight , would toss their gauntlet (Armored glove) down and demand that the one being challenged would pick it up and accept the terms of the challenge. Gunfighters in the old west would call the other guy out of the saloon and challenge him to slap leather in the dusty street, (Really they would wait and shoot him in the back) In those colonial sissy days of powdered wigs and ponytails, guys would slap each other with dainty gloves and demand a duel. Well, in these modern high tech times I’m just going to sit here behind my keyboard and do from a safe distance.
