I heard on CNN someone claim Russert had for a lot of years worked 20+ hour days non-stop at times . That he was basically NBC's best , and that they needed him for hours of Election coverage and all.

Damn sad.... RIP . I would turn it on and watch at times. He smiled and seemed happy when he interviewed someone.
