Holy crap!
That thing is amazing.

Too bad it's so expensive..
It'd be worth it though.

These guys are killing me!!!

I will say, that is the nicest movie Hellboy sculpt I've seen. It really looks good. I wasn't too happy with some of their previous Hellboys at Sideshow but this one takes the cake. It is a great looking piece and one I FEAR I must own. Luckily it is a long way off till we see it so I can start skipping lunch now. But I already pre-ordered the new Samaritan and I wondering how I'm going to pull that off! But, I did find this little link...

Perhaps this will be more affordable?

Woohoo! Thank you Kirk! I was hoping they'd do another 1/4 scale. I have the original in that size and the girlfriend barely tolerates it (she has an issue with gun replicas being in the house since her little nephew comes over often). There was no way she was going to let me get the 1:1 scale and display it.

Looks nice. So far I've the only toy or statue I've bought that has the "movie Hellboy" look is the Extreme fig. I'm starting to cut down on my dust catchers, I'm running out of space.

Well Gary, it looks like you did create a crazy rampage! And boy am I glad as I took your advice and ordered one last nite. Whew! I would be sad had I missed this one (despite its large price tag!) so thanks for bringing it to my attention. But damn if that didn't go quick!

I own quite a few of Sideshow's Hellboy items and I'm literally disappointed by all of them. Yet, I couldn't help myself when I saw the detail on that new premium figure.

Exactly. I have spent a lot of dough at Sideshow and have been disappointed in most of the Hellboy sculpts they've used but this one really grabbed me. Despite the large price tag, I knew I had to own it and luckily I took Gary's advice and didn't hesitate.

For those that missed out, if you want one, get on the wait list quick. A lot of people pre-order Sideshow stuff and then cancel before it ships (especially on the more expensive pieces). So all is not yet lost on this great statue.

Yeah ,i feel the same way as my partners in crime do..the first time around the stuff from sideshow was okay and i do own most of it...i think this time around they are stepping up their game with some really nice stuff.but ,man is it $$$.i remember the news release from universal and how it said that the items released through sideshow are priced from $50-$600..YIKES! i have a feeling that 1:1 scale Big Baby will be at the high end of that price range..if they make one, that is.I just may have to get that paper route and recycle those bottles and cans:redface: anyone need their lawn mowed?

I think the Samaritan was enough for me. No Big Baby for me. Maybe if they do a tiny scale version like they did with the Samaritan. Then I might consider one.

I still don't "get" the figure thing but this $13.00 Kroenen bobble head (http://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=8926) is pretty adorable.
