Hey guys I was just using the "image" search engines on Gwen Stacy and came across this. Is this one of those retold old Spider-Man stories when Gwen was alive ?

If so, I would like to dig it up and buy it. Advanced thanks for the info guys.

No, that's Peter making out with Norman and Gwen's daughter.

It was a sequel to the infamous Sins Past story in the last Spectacular Spider-Man book. . .The story was called Sins Remembered I believe. . .

I wouldn't call it a must read. . .

That's kind of "F..ked up". Why would they have that on the cover if ... sales purposes. I got it. Haha.

Why was it bad ? How horrible could it have been written ?

Why was it bad ? How horrible could it have been written ?It's not that it writing was terrible or anything. I mean, dialogue-wise, I don't remember being any worse than average. The premise of the storyline just wasn't all that appealing, especially if you didn't care for Sins Past. And even if you didn't want everything associated with Sins Past erased from existence, the plot was kind of out of left field in terms of developing the backstory of the Sins Past twins. It seems like they were trying to develop the backstory of the twins before moving beyond Sins Past but I don't think it was particularly effective in this regard. I know I haven't really described the storyline, but if you want more details, check out this link (http://www.spiderfan.org/comics/reviews/spiderman_spectacular_v2/023.html), it provides a synopsis of the story.

Well, she does kiss him, but it's really her (Sarah) throwing herself onto Peter.

And, yeah, those stories sucked.

I thought it was actually poorly written, too (perhaps because they rushed the new guy to get it out quickly). Plus, the art wasn't that good.

Thanks Abdul, I needed the actual issue and title. I'm going to check it out in the quarter bins. Curiosity got the cat on this one.

It's actually 25. I've checked it in "spiderfan.org" and I edited my original post to fix that error

"Sins Remembered" is...not even a fact of life, it's THAT unmemorable, cliched, redundant, and idiotic, almost a "toast" to the pettyness of "Sins Past" than an echo of it.

Sins past was better written, if you want my opinion. The beginning of the story seemed interested, but the subplots didn't make any sense to me, or they wanted to continue them but never did, I don't know.

Well, as a fervent supporter of the Sins Past storyline, I have to say that I thought that the Sins Remembered story in Spectacular Spider-Man v2 #23 - #26 was pretty good actually. Sure, it wasn't as awesome as Sins Past in any way, but I don't remember it being awful by any stretch of the imagination. If you enjoyed Sins Past, it's an essential addition and continuation to that story.

I do agree that the art wasn't that great though. Scot Eaton's artwork was good but the problem I had with it was that none of the characters really looked right...especially his Peter Parker. It just didn't look like Peter Parker, if you know what I mean?
