Has anyone heard of new books debuting at the con this year?

Marvel and DC do not sell books at the show. So whatever comes out that week is what will be at the show through retailers.

Most indie/small press publishers tend to have a few books that "debut" at the show. They tend to be books that are coming out in the next month or so of the show.

I thought he meant like announcements regarding new books.

For example at last years SDCC the BND creative teams and the new AXM creative teams were announced.

That would happen during the con at panels and interviews.
