Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mike!!

Isn't having a daughter who is becoming a fangirl the best geek present you could ask for?

What's amazingly funny is that apart from the movies and comics and stuff being around the house, I don't think i've knowingly tried to push any of it on her, other than the Hulk pajamas i just thought were a hoot a few years ago. It just seems that for the most part, superhero movies are not that bad for her to watch ( generally not rated R, and she recognizes the characters ). Now she likes to go to the comic shop with me and look at the covers of books and is interested in hero movies and cartoons, plus she has gotten a few sketches from people at our free comic day - she recognizes Darwyn Cooke as "the man who drew the Wonder Woman on my wall".
Now, I'm trying to work her up towards Hellboy 2 by showing her some big monster movies, which amazingly don't scare her..she loves the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park, even the Chomper ( T-Rex as it's called in the Land Before Time ).
All boils down to is that - yes, i'm creating a little fangirl, but better than watching Hannah Montana, plus she likes ( REALLY LIKES ) Mouse Guard, so that's a Petersen Perk.
