Can someone help me figure out when Traci 13 got her hands on the Staff of Arion? I have been diving through my stacks as far back as the whole Supergirls (Traci 13, Natasha Irons, Cir-El) teamup bit, and for the life of me, I can't find where she got her hands on it.

It's obviously after the Day of Vengeance IC Special. And, though it was more of a spoof than anything, after the Tales of the Unexpected "Architects and Mortality" backstory.

After that, we don't see her but as a background character (still wearing her old costume) in The Oblivion Bar - talking to the fake Arion.

Then Superman - Camelot Falls (with the real Arion) goes down, and soon after, we start seeing her in Blue Beetle (Countdown crossover), in her new costume, now wielding the Staff. As far as I can tell, this is the first place we see her with it, whereupon she informs us that she "stole" it.

When? Where? How? Is there something I missed somewhere?

You didn't miss anything - Traci's appearance in BB was the first time she had the staff.

IIRC, what John Rogers said at the time was that the Staff was in Terry Thirteen's possession - Terry being Terry, he dismissed its magical nature - and Traci grabbed it when she picked up on Eclipso's return (ie, she nicked it from her dad). I don't remember Rogers mentioning how /Terry/ got it, though.

So it would have just been a stick in his hands anyway. (Doesn't Dr. 13 negate magic simply by his sheer disbelief in it?) But it begs the question, how the heck did he get it?

Also, thinking of this reminded me of another unanswered question. Waaaaay back in 52... remember how Ralph Dibny got his hands on the Silver Wheel of Nyorlath? Well, he messed around with it in Fate's Tower, right and that whole mess with Faust/Neron went down? And then what happened to it? Fast forward to Teen Titans #42, where Kid Devil shows up at Faust Jr.'s place - and what's on his table? The Silver Wheel AND the Green Bell (and a book showing the Demons 3), and he informs Eddie that he lent the Red Bell to Blue Devil.

Did THAT ever go anywhere? Was Sebastian up to something, or was it just clever background art and a plot device to keep Eddie on Blue Devil's tail?
