You know, the round "spider" he has on his back that looks more like a ladybug (at least to me),ever since i've started reading spiderman that always bugged me,and i've alway felt it should be a spider kinda like the one in venom chest but without those stretched legs,it made more sense,i think the movie nailed it,but now i've grown fond of it.
So what is your opinion should the round "spider" in the back be substituted for a new one with more resemblance to a spider,or stay ?

I couldn't tell you why, but it works for me.

Even I got used to the red tick(or ladybug) on his back, but I have no problem if someone tweaks it. I mean Superman either has a yellow S insignia on the back of his cape, or a red and yellow one, or none at all depending on whose drawing it....

I don't think it has to go, but in all honesty, part of the reason I like the black suit design and the Ben Reilly design is because I thing the spider logo looks better on both.

I don't think it should go, but the symbiote logo was much better.

The big red bug on the back that looks like a tick? I'm fine with it.

maybe we could ask joey q to retcon the tick out to.

But, if they take The Tick away, who will cry SPOOOOOOOOONNNN as they enter battle in the future?

it's too iconic.
It would be as if DC took away Supe's "S"

It's worked well for 46 years and it just fits .....I don't think too many people have every thought that it does not look spidery enough. His costume is IMHO hands-down the best superhero design ever; leave well enough alone.

I'm telling the truth in these:
1. I prefer the spider on the back this way over the movie style
2. around 14 years ago I saw a real living black spider that looked exactly the same

I've been a fan of the black suit and wish they'd just stay with that.

I do too. Much better than the first movie's design.
If you have the second movie, they include extras on the up grades they made to the suit. The colors, the redesigned spiders on both the back and front. F*cking Perfect!
I was very disappointed they didn't include that kind of the thing for the making of the black suit for SM3. All we got was a 2 minute thing. Fine it wasnt that different to the red suit, but still. Its the difference between black and red, which to fans is huge.
Anyway, I doubt Marvel will change the "lady bug" for a couple of fans. Its been that way for years, outlasting even some of the artists that drew them.

It doesn't look like a ladybug, because ladybugs only have six legs.
So what if it looks like a tick? Tick are arachnids, which is in keeping with his theme. Also, consider this: The rounded arachnid on his back looks JUST LIKE his spider-tracers, which latch onto people similar to the way ticks latch onto other organisms.
Personally, I don't like the movie spider. It looks like something tattooed on the arm of a scuzzy biker or something.

This is a true story, when I was young, maybe between 5 and 7 years old. I didnt see superman's "S" in his symbol. All I saw was a series of shapes. I even drew it that way. Dyslectic? Who knows? Now I cant help but to see the "S"!!
I left a link from the one I mean since there have been more than a few (thanks StoneGold).
