Well today while I was on my first break I hear my cat scratching on the floor. To all cat owners that only means that a cat has went to the bathroom and is trying to cover it up. I went over to see the mess and a mess it was.
We still had our huge bag from the ComiCon in the living room. Our comic book room is packed, so it wasn't going to make it in there until we organized. I told a certain someone to put those books away before they get ruined.
So needless to say some of Gail's signed books were peed on, and almost all, if not all my Abe Sapien books were damaged. The bag was drenched. What puzzled me was that the bottom books were the ones that were the worse off, the top ones weren't so bad. I mean he peed right on top of the bag. So I'm angry. MPagar doesn't like buying replacement comics, but in this case it's a must.
Right now Leomeowdas is hiding from us because he knows he did something wrong.

It's a cat-spiracy. My cat, Nineveh, scratched up my Josh Middleton print after Heroes Con last year. I'm still cheesed about that one.
Sorry Leo used your stash as his own kitty litter box. :frown:

Apparently he actually likes comics, at least as a litter box. ,
It's also possible your cat may be sick. When an animal pees somewhere he normally wouldn't it can be a sign of liver or kidney disease. You may need to take kitty to the vet and get him checked out.

This is why I have a dog. The worst Annabelle has ever done to my comics is lie on them when they happen to be on my bed, and that's never caused any real damage. She probably doesn't like them much though, as they distract my attention from her.

Then again it could be - like it is with my cats - a sign that the cat is pissed off that you left him at home while you went out AGAIN.
Peeing on things is one of the cat's most popular and common signs of expressing displeasure.

Which is a trait they share with most of the folks on this board...

Were they in a plastic bag? I've found that for some reason, plastic bags seem to offend cats.
My cats only hate comics when I'm reading them instead of petting the cat.

MPagar's idea. I wanted to name him Leonidas, but MPagar thought that Leomeowdas was so much more appropriate. We call him Meowdas, and Cassie calls him 'Cat', which he responds to better.

Most likely what it is. We took a 3 and a half day week end to CT. He's a very lovey dovey cat and wants people around all the time. (especially Cassie, these two are inseparable).

Years ago I had a male roomie get drunk and pee all over a pile of comics in my bedroom one night while I was out on the town (and no, I have no idea what he was doing in my bedroom, nor did I ever ask).
Just gross. At least he paid for all new copies.
My cat on the other hand loves comics, especially Gail comics. Just the other day she tried to carry off the "Of Like Minds" trade in her mouth. No really, she tried to do this.

I think your cat is getting back at you for making him watch 300 that many times. Plus making him wear the helmet didn't help. :p
