Which are your favorites? You can choose more than one.
Spider-Girl: Easily. It's the truest continuation of the Spider-Man story "off the record", and the characters do the classic Spidey concept proud.
Ultimate Spider-Man: Modern mythology building with a more straight-laced, youthful, energetic, risky, but occasionaly air-headed Peter. Has some great rite of passage stories and humour at a slow and remakrably refreshing pace.

I agree with this on both accounts as these are also my favorite Spidey titles.

I voted for Amazing Spider-Man and Ultimate Spider-Man, with an edge for consistency to Ultimate.

Spider-Girl
I hate the Ult. Universe, i can see why people like it, it's just not for me...although i found there clone saga to be much more enjoyable then the regular one.

It's Spider-girl for me. It's consistently the one of the most dependable, enjoyable books Marvel is putting out.
USM is also very good.

I went with USM. I think it's really well done and they are doing a great job bringing the story into today's world while staying pretty true to the character that was created over 40 years ago. Great job

Amazing Spider-Man
UItimate Spider-Man's decent, but not as strong as it was during Bagley's last year (though the Shocker one-shot was excellent.)
Spider-Man Family is very mixed.
I dropped Spider-Girl years ago, and don't follow Marvel Adventures Spider-Man.

Ultimate Spidey all the way. Although I may consider giving Spider-Girl a try judging from all the praise I hear of it.

I would agree with both of these.

Why isnt New Avengers listed as an option?

I went with Ultimate Spider-Man. The best Spidey book out there by far!
Its the only Spidey book that I can re-read issues 1-122 and not feel that any issues were, well, crap!
Amazing can sit for now, I feel nothing for it and cant stand the new villains and the rest of it. I am gonna pick it up again when Romita Jr returns though!

Why isnt New Avengers listed as an option?I didn't even think about that -- but then again, it really doesn't feel like a "Spider" book.
Matt Linton

New Avengers isn't listed because it isn't really a "Spider-Man" book, any more than Marvel Adventures Avengers is one. And besides, there IS an option for "Other".
New Avengers doesnt even feel like an Avengers comic...it's Bendis putting the personality of Ultimate Spidey in every single member...
...Maybe it DOES count after all...

I think Bendis' biggest claim to fame in 616 was finally making Jessica a lovable and relatable character (similar to what DeFalco was doing with her in the MC2 "Gerry Drew" arc)...then he made her a you-know-what...

While I like the ultimate spiderman I feel that somewhat it had lost a lil steam but the last 2 issues have been tremendous. The one shot issues with omega red and the shocker have been awesome and 2 of my favorite ultimate spiderman issues.
Amazing spiderman is the main spidey book and I like brand new day. The book is enjoyable, it comes out 3 times a month, the arcs are short

I'd say his biggest claim to fame in 616 is making the Avengers the center of the Marvel Universe, taking the mantle from the X-Men.

...I voted for Family , the only title I'm ordering now , tho liking what I've read and the forthcoming " Two Spiders " story have me thinking I'll resume ASM after all .

Believe it or not, my fav Spidey book is Marvel Adventures Spider-Man. I get a big kick out of the single issue stories that are almost extinct in most comics. Amazing Spider-Girl is also pretty solid right now. I still like Ultimate Spider-Man but MASM and ASG are better books right now IMO.

Busiek made the book really good, but it wasn't really a book that major events in the Marvel universe revolved around.

As I see it, Amazing Spider-Girl is one of the most consistently good things Marvel publishes. Rarely great, but wonderful in its own right.
Ultimate Spider-Man is usually great, though it's almost forced me to leave about twice or so now. It seems to be on a roll at the moment. Hoepfully the tie-in to the video game won't muck things up.
I did manage to read this week's Marvel Adventures Spider-Man issue. That was quite good, too. I imagine I'd like it if I read it consistently.

Busiek/ Perez Avengers also wasn't consistently outselling Uncanny X-Men.

M.A.S & A.S.G
U.S.M isn't that great currently, especially that Mr. Bagley left the Marvel Building.
A.S.M: Has it's ups and downs

Seconded! I'm also re-reading Peter David's awesome Spider-Man 2099 issues at the moment, I wish they'd resurrect Miggy O'Hara...

This might be cheating but ESSENTIAL SPIDER-MAN.
I actually own most of the Spidey stories from AMZSPIDEY 1-206 and miscellaneous issues of his other books. Essential Spidey is a good quick fix instead of opening the originals and carefully reading them. And No! They are not for sale!
Runner Up: Spider Girl. It's actually good dumb fun and Petey and I still have our MJ!

He showed up in the last year or so of Claremont's run on Exiles.

Sorry, I meant that I wouldn't mind seeing him back in an ongoing written by Peter David. I'm all nostalgic, I guess.
