Nifty 4 part video series about kojima and metal gear series going back through the first to the newest ones, should be good viewing especially since metal gear solid 4 guns of the patriots comes out next week.

Hell I thought I knew it all, still learned couple things from these.

Huh. I thought Meryl was Campbell's niece. Did I miss something, or was it just an error on their part?

Yeah, in part one, he told Solid Sanke that she was his niece.

She is his niece, far as I can tell thats about only mistake they made really.

No, during MGS, you find she's his daughter.

You only find out if you get the "Meryl dies" ending in MGS1. Campbell tells you he found out she was his daughter.

Oh yeah, been awhile since I played it. Hadnt touched 1 since I got it for gamecube. Oh well I need to play through them all again anyway to get ready for part 4 next week!

Watching these made me realise how much I love the entire Metal Gear mythology, and also how sad I'll be the day I won't be able to afford MGS4.

Well part 5 for it is out now on game trailers.

I cant wait, tongiht is midnight release for metal gear solid 4 guns of the patriots. Good thing I got the limited edition, I saw some screen shots of the stuff and it came with a unannounced snake figure on top of the blu ray movie, saga dvd volume 2 and other stuff.
