Is anyone looking forward to this?

I was excited when I heard it was announced, but then I've kinda gone off it bec ause of the new style of graphics (cell shading, I believe like Ultimate Spider-Man), but the new trailer has revived my hopes slightly...

The new trailer is IGN and youtube.

I'm also very sceptacle about the new film, but like the game, I think I'll wait and see how it turns out...

This is going to rock. I can't wait to fight the new enemies and the one on one dynamic will be interesting.

I had the first PoP on Cube but left it for a while and couldn't get back into it. I never got any of the other games.

So I'm excited to see that they're "starting fresh" with the franchise and I hafta say I think it looks really exciting. Definately one I'm looking forward to!

You should have played the other two. Warrior Within focused more on combat while The Two Thrones was a mix of Sands and Warrior.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get the trilogy later this year...

And yes, I'm looking forward to this game. It seems to be a very fresh take on the franchise, in all aspects.

Do you think they may have been a little late though. Imean assasin's creed and a few others have already come out with very similar gameplay. I know those games got their gameplay from this game, but they have already come out for next-gen. i hope they didn't steal some of POP's thunder.

Possibly. But I think the reason why they are taking a whole new approach to the franchise is exactly that one.

they are taking out the sands of time. it was in a video interview i saw.

Looks pretty sweet. The 3 games on PS2 where a lot of fun, hopefully this'll be just as good but with new spanky graphics.

I like that they're focusing more on exploration than on combat, so I'll keep my eyes on this one.

Looks like it. And I'm intrigued about the role this Alika (sp?) character will have, gameplay-wise.

Well tomb raider has come out with similar gameplay. I can't think of any others at the moment, but there are a few.

I did read an article about the new POP, and it does seem to be alot different from the other POP's. I'm interested in how it will play and also how different it's going to feel without the whole time power aspect.
