I want to thank you for Tilting at Windmills. I have enjoyed your informative and cogent writing regarding retailing, marketing, and the general world of Comics and Graphic Novels.

Here is my question for you. I am putting together a business proposal with students for a comic book publishing company. We are looking for sales figures and the likes for the smaller presses - not DC and Marvel. We have found some on Comicchron dot com, which are from Diamond, but we are looking for info from Mass Merchants or Amazon.

Do you have any place you could point us to?

I was going to point you to the BookScan columns from TaW v2, but it looks like Newsarama didn't port them over in their Big Move.

Very little non-Diamond data is available publicly. Try googling various combination of words and see if you can find anything
