View Full Version : "The Future of the Hulk"

IGN talks with Mark Pannicia, and while it's mostly a recap of things we've heard before (regarding Hulk, Herc and Skaar), there is some new Skaar & Herc art and a couple of teasers towards the end. You can check it out here: http://comics.ign.com/articles/877/877905p1.html

And speaking of tidbits...

"IGN Comics: I wanted to bring things back to Herc and Hulk to close out - what's coming up for both series? Will the Thor/Hulk confrontation over in Hulk be as epic as we're hoping?

Paniccia: I don't want to spoil too much about Herc post-Secret Invasion, but the next arc is called "Love and War" and will feature an Atlantean blonde that Herc swapped air with during the WWH tie-in and a battle with some very cool women warriors. This arc is illustrated by the fantastic Clayton Henry (don't worry Sandoval/Bonet fans, they'll be back in the next arc) with amazing covers by Arthur Suydam.

And all I have to say about the Thor fight is that it's going to be brutal. When I first read Jeph's script my jaw fell to the ground and rolled down the hall. The art is coming in and Ed is drawing the $@#% out of it."

I can't wait for this.... Thor with his sizable power increase, and Red Hulk who has been an utter beast so far, plus Ed drawing it.

I'm on board for Herc all the way, but I'm wondering when or even if, he's gonna get around to meeting the pantheon... As for Hulk, I like it, but i wish it was coming out on a regular basis. what's the hold up?

Was that Nightmare going after Herc in those teasers?

To be honest I'm a little disappointed that Herc has become the star of the Hulk title. The Red Hulk storyline could easily have been conducted within "The Incredible Hulk" rather than a seperate book. Or am I being cycnical that Marvel started to run to books concurrently meaning I'd have to add another subscription?

Not being a regular Spider Man reader, I'm not sure what Venom is up to now, but I'd like to see a Hulk against him, or even Hulk being infected with it and going on the rampage.

Venom is over at Thunderbolts.

Apparently Skaar is an ongoing now.

I thought that was interesting, last I heard it was a 12 issue mini series.

I'm not sure that Hulk could get infected by the symbiote, what with Hulk's ability to heal.

Remember that terrible crossover with Juggernaut and Venom? Ugh...

I remember Venom getting his face smashed into something...and a woman...but everything else seems to be a blur.

I had that comic though.

I think Hulk got infected with the Venom symbiote in a "What if?"

I imagine that was one freaky looking Venom.

They should have Hercules or Thor merge with a symbiote.
