He's become pretty damn one note, and although this wasn't exactly deep, at least it wasn't 'Holy cow! Dis dude shocking! He rapes people!' There was a hint of something.... not more, but at least slightly different. Very slightly, but a relief anyway.

Well someone needs to. I mean, seriously. If you are going to set some villain up as a rapist, it would be nice if he was ever taken down for it. What kind of message does it send when the villain set up as "rapist man" never seems to get caught?

I think maybe -- sorry, getting nerdy and serious for a sec -- Grant's investigating the nature of evil here a bit. With Human Flame's petty need for validation through the death of... am I saying too much?; and Mirror Master being a skeevy Glasgow hooligan, and Dr. Light's rapiness being shown as a compensation for his sexual incompetence.
