Getting together a checklist of indirect tie-ins to Final Crisis. So far we have:
SIGHTINGS:
Justice League of America #21 - Libra gathers together the villains and the Human Flame.
DARK SIDE CLUB:
Birds Of Prey #118 - Misfit & Black Alice are captured by the Dark Side Club.
Infinity Inc #11 - 12 - Several members are captured by the Dark Side Club.
Teen Titans #55 - 59 - The Terror Titans capture Kid Devil & Miss Martian and sell them to the Dark Side Club.
The Flash # 238 - 243 - Members of the Dark Side Club capture The Flash's children.
Terror Titans #1 - 6 - The Terror Titans take over the now empty Dark Side Club.
LAST RITES:
Batman #682 - 683 - Details Batman's ordeal and escape.

Do we know if these are all Dark Side Club tie-ins that are going to be coming out? If it's just these tie-ins I'll probably buy them but if they're going to go Countdown-crazy I won't bother...
I'm also wondering about the Teen Titans issues. Is the DSC just a sub-plot to the whole Clock King storyline and doesn't the Club appear in #60 at all?
And does the Club appear in all three issues of the Fast Money arc in Flash or just in #240?
Thanks for any answers!

So apparently Action Comics #866, which I think is the start of the big Brainiac arc, is the second(?) issue to have a Sightings banner. Has anybody read it? It doesn't tie in to Final Crisis at all, right?
It seems like they might just be using Sightings as a simple way to signify when new big storylines starts. Action Comics: start of Brainiac, Justice League #21: sort of the start of Final Crisis. But why not Batman RIP?

From what I recall, ACTION #866 had nothing to do with DSC or anything Final Crisis related whatsoever...

JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA No. 20 -- On Sale November 5, 2008
Quoted from

It's the Justice Society of America vs. the Justice Society Infinity of Earth-2 with the fate of Power Girl at the center of it all! Meanwhile, Starman struggles with his returned sanity as he embarks on his true mission in our time period – one that will have vital consequences for the Crisis of the 31st century!
(Thanks to "shaunofthedead" from the DC Boards for pointing out this LEGION OF THREE WORLDS tie-in.)

add Green Lantern 36-38, the entire Red Lantern arc seems to be happening parallel
also the Rise of the Olympians arc (Wonder Woman 26-??) apparently involves the Society

shouldn't the Lightning saga from JLA/JSA be included, along with Action Comics #864 since both are pretty much the lead-ins to Legion of 3 Worlds???

sure, but since countdown has been pretty much made moot, and the lightning saga itself is essentially a key part of the lead in the LO3W, couldn't we break nerd-code and put them on both lists??

Seven Soldiers - introduces Darkseid and the fate of the New Gods
52 - The introduction of the religion of crime.
The Lightning Saga - Reintroduces the very first Legion.
Four Horsemen - the fate of the Four Horsemen and reveals that Snapper is recruited by Checkmate.
Crime Bible - explores the Religion of Crime
Booster Gold - sequel to 52
JLA 21 - first reappearance of Libra.
Rock of Ages - details Darkseid's reign on Earth, a possible FC future.
so the only "DC sightings" so far has been the JLA #21?
has this thing died out or somethign?

Sightings has nothing to do with Final Crisis. The Former has to do with major happenings going on. AC had brainiac, New Krypton was the first part of a crossover and RiH was Lobo in Hell.
