I love Lockheed and want to see him somewhere! But choosing which title isn't easy.......:confused:

Ack! Nooooooo, keep Lockheed as far away from Pixie as possible. It's bad enough she's been turned into a Magik-lite; do we really need her to become a Kitty hybrid too?

Speaking of Magik, though, I say put Lockheed with Illyana. It makes sense if you think about it. Lockheed had a special rapport with Kitty; Illyana was Kitty's best friend. AND, Lockheed used to hang around Magik all the time back in the New Mutants' heyday. He kinda fits with the whole 'demon sorceress' angle Illyana always had going.

Lockheed and Pixie? It'd make a nice visual, but I'd actually see a more adverserial relationship between them. Hisako? Pu-leez!! Way, way too boring to even warrant Locky's attention.

Looking at personal relationships, I think...

Uncanny/Astonishing: Lockheed might fit best as supporting (SWORD) cast rather than an X-Man proper. I think there may be a bit of distrust between him has Kitty's closest friends (Kurt, Pitor, Logan, Ororo, etc) too and it might be good to see that rejection on panel... though I'd love to see him and Hank as colleagues actually. Good potential in Uncanny too when the Illyana arc happens... Locke was closer to Yana than any of Kitty's other friends, he might even switch sides (again).

MI-13: Well, Lockheed was a founding member of Excalibur, and I honestly think he'd mesh almost perfectly with the slightly surreal sci-fi aesthetic Cornell's going for... I mean a super smart, multilingual 1 foot purple alien dragon? Perfect! There's also obviously the old Wisdom rivalry which could evolve in interesting ways, especially if Wisdom was against his inclusion (maybe it's mandated with Lockheed being a SWORD liason?). I think interaction between Brian and Lockheed could be good too, I can see him willing to forgive "the betrayal" than most of Kitty's circle.

Plus, Tangerine needs a pet, rite?

Young: Story wise, I can't think of much reason honestly... I mean Lockheed knew all the Muties, but he was only really at all close to Illyana, and she's being featured elsewhere. Guggs likes him though, which likely counts for more than any real existing narrative pull. Lockheed & Dani: Agents of SHIELD?

X-Factor: The farthest fit imo, though if PAD's willing to take on oddballs like Darwin or Longshot....

Legacy: Maybe Lockheed's dad worked the Nevada facility too?

I have it on excellent authority that Lockheed appears toward the end of Secret Invasion. When the heroes seem utterly defeated and all hope is lost, one of the Skrull battleships suddenly explodes in the Earth's atmosphere. Then another. And another!

Nick Fury called in some reinforcements. Some...purple reinforcements. A cannon-toting Lockheed and Nick Fury kicking ass!
