All of these characters have been shown taking care of children. They each excel at different aspects of child-care. To which would you entrust the care of your children?
Nanny, the Robot Helper (http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix3/nannymagneto.htm) - Doesn't let her charges run around.
Nanny, the Cyborg (http://en.marveldatabase.com/Nanny_(Orphanmaker_Partner)) - Can be hard on parents.
Emma Frost (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emma_Frost) - Has been known to lose kids, but arranges the perfect funeral.
Moira MacTaggart (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moira_MacTaggert) - Nobel Prize Winning Maid. Has been known to run science experiments on children.
Spiral (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiral_(comics)) - Good for mass day-care. Might rip out their spines.
Big Mamma Guthrie - Sexually permissive mother-figure. Willing to donate children to science.
Laundry Folding Magneto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magneto_(comics)) - Karma level laundry folding. Might make your daughter dance for him.
Juggernaut (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juggernaut_(comics)) - Will teach your kid to play ball. Also good with pets, especially fish.
Honorable mention goes to Mystique, who has thrown her baby over a cliff, killed her other biological son and shot her foster daughter in the chest.

Had to go with Spiral. Can't remember why I picked her though.

I had to go with gun-toting Mama Guthrie.

Great thread Dn@N. And I know my answer immediately.
Emma Frost!!
I have never wanted children. and as a single young adult who barely manages to crawl home from the bar in the evenings I would be distraught if a child was suddenly dropped into my care. I would immediately call Emma Frost to raise and tutor my child. While he/she would most likely become a total hell raising bastard (like the Hellions or the annoying Surge or Negasonic Teenage Warhead), he or she would most likely be dead after 60 issues or so. Emma Frost lets all of her children die. She's a horrid mother/caretaker and I'm astounded the X-Men trust her with their proteges. Fools.
After Emma sent my kids to battle Mojo or the Toad or Mammomax or Fitzroy she'd inevitable come back to me in tears telling me how sad she was to have lost yet another pupil. I'd back hand the skank and sue the pants right off of her (not that getting her to drop her pants is difficult, if she is even wearin any that day). Then I'd use all the money I got off of her to hire The Dazzler to chop off Emma's head with a precise Dazzler Lazer blast. I'd mount her diamond head on my wall, and if the profits from suing the bitch run out I'll just chip a bit off of her face and sell it.
No kids. No Emma. Beautiful wall art. Lots of pay off. It's a win/win really.

LOL. I should have included her. Perhaps tossing her baby off a cliff into a raging river and shooting her daughter in the chest disqualifies her.

And she shot Graydon, don't forget.

I can't add her to the poll, but I will edit her into the first post.

Juggernaut and Spiral. Another good choice would be Aurora.

Well, I think Momma Guthrie would probably "donate" the children to Moira and after she's done doing all those projects on them, I'd say Emma will have to be called in for the funeral arrangements.
It's a three woman job.

I chose Emma or Cain. They are the most ruthless people who have an affinity for children.
They would demolish anyone who tried to harm my child.

I chose Nanny the robot. But, only b/c she likes to spoonfeed.

Juggernaut is cuddly, and thus he wins my trust with children.

I've chosen Moira. Not only will she include childeren in science (which helps them learn) but she's also a great role-model.

I pick Jean. When she is around children do not die. She dies instead.

LOL. This struck me funny.
I went with Robot Nanny among others. I think she'd be brillsville with my kiddos.

I of coursed picked Mama Guthrie, and Juggy.. Why? Well the Guthrie's are from the south, which means she has good ol southern values. She'd never try all this new age parenting B.S. that leads to homicidal teens.
Juggy loves the kids, he likes their rain coats.

He is an unreconstructed Alpha Male. He still feeds babies Cow's Milk. So, no.

Bah! You learn to take what you can get in a war-torn dystopian future. The baby will drink cow's milk and like it, dammit!

I picked Spiral. I'd have chosen Moira, but I dunno how well a corpse would actually manage kids.

Obviously Emma Frost, she's the only choice for such a decision!
