X-Poster of the Month: May 2008 Voting! [Archive]

Which X-Books Forum poster over the course of the past month has been the best? Whether a knock-out single post, a string of good posts or just for injecting a healthy dose of verve into the daily X-Books forum proceedings and strengthening its community.

One poster. One vote. You register your opinion.

Just a reminder to everyone to keep the spirit of this award in mind when voting. Nominations should be for another poster who has actively posted in the X-Books Forum, outside of or in addition to X-Crescence, over the past month and has in some way added to, strengthened, or bettered the forum and/or its community.

The winner will get the (not) very fabled X-Poster of the Month signature to be proudly worn during the next month.

Voting concludes at Midnight EDT on May 31.

I was torn between two people who contribute a lot around here...

Jack Flash for his work on "Name that X", and david r for all his "From the Beginning" threads...

In the end, I flipped a coin, and it told me...

JonniRandom. He seems to be a friendly guy with a good sense of humour, he started a couple of fun, refreshing threads in both the X-Books forum and the Comm forum and met with some "huh, lookit the newb" responses by vets on both forums; I hope he'll continue to enjoy the boards. He has my vote.

worstblogever. His Hellfire Month stuff has been great and he obviously put a lot of work into it, plus he general contributes a lot to this board.

Also, he needs a win this year to get the nomination for XPotY!

WBE deserves major props for the Hellfire threads. and Fea always deserves a mention.

But I had a poster Patrion who made me a fantastic display of the characters I chose for the "Make a Team" Thread. He didn't have to, but he created a collage of my team, so that gives him my vote!

I'm gonna vote for Worstblogever.

He has poured soooooooooo much effort into this Hellfire Month and regardless of the activity in the month, he deserves the acknowledgment of his efforts.

If it hadn't been that I'd vote for Jack Flash for his Name Game and the fact that he has kept it going. Also La Fea has made a lot of good posts in a variety of threads and it's always good to read quality posters.

I love the New Mutants from the begining thread with all my fan hearth...
Close second is the worderfullistic Hellfire Club thread... He even mentioned Lourdes Chantel !!
And the amor brutal of LaFea to Windancer makes me all happy and warm inside

I need to think more about this...

Um... I think the mutant tracker tips the balance... because this month he has both that and the Hellfire thingie running... I vote WBE

But as we have a lot of New Mutants awesomeness ahead, I will have time enough to vote David R...

And I guess I will find another chance to vote la bella LaFea

Tank boy please.I feel pretty foolish now, though I'm not about to change my vote (is that even possible?) What's done is done.

Consciously breaking the 'stick only to voting' rule, my number two would have been a tie between Josef and Swashbuckler, anyway. I loved their insightful analyses of the relationship Mystique has with her children. Honourable mention to both of them.
