Who's ready for this?!
Being a fan of the anime, manga and somewhat a fan of the comics, I am really looking forward to this.

Is it based on the original Imagecomic or the Japanese animated series? Because if it's the former, then it wouldn't really be "live action anime," would it?

I'm assuming that you have no idea that Witchblade was originally an American comic book first published by Image in the 90s (and is still being published today)? Or that there was a cable TV series featuring the character from about 10 years ago. And that aside from the name of the main character, the Japanese cartoon has little in common with the story and background of the characters in the book. And that if the movie is based on one of the other versions of the property, which were clearly not anime, then by no definition would the movie be "live-action anime."
Oh yeah ... duh.

Oh yeah ... duh.Not true! Check Wikipedia. It says clear as day that the original series came from Japan! :evilangry:

I don't need to check Wikipedia. I read the comic and saw the TV show, both of which came out years before the anime was ever produced.

Dude, come back. I was joking.
Sarah Pezzinni bears the Witchblade and fights against her Gary Stu of an arch-nemesis, Ian Nottingham, right?

I'm just glad the TNT series is coming out on DVD as I've had a thing for Yancy Bulter since Mann & Machine...
If Sara Pez is in this new flick, I'll be interseted. If not, I just hope it's full of so good ol' T & A!
