I saw Polaris as an increasingly prominent member of Ed Brubaker's X-Men team from his successful run on Uncanny X-Men, but with new powers.

In space limbo. Being tortured by the Shi'ar in a prison at the bottom of an ocean on a planet on the fringe of Vulcan's Shi'ar empire.

Well, I expected him to be an important character in some X-Men arcs, since he just came out of being Famine.

Right now, he's in limbo. However, he has done some things since 2 years ago (with Messiah CompleX), as well as other sporadic appearances (Cable and Deadpool, Adjectiveless X-Men).

Where did you see your favourite X-Character being now, two years ago (May 2006)?

I think that's around when I first became a fan of him, actually. I was too busy reading up on his past to pay his future much mind at that point. If I remember it right, I kind of avoided reading the issues he featured in that were current at the time, because of Claremont's overly wordy, trite and sentimental treatment. I was looking forward to Brubaker's arrival for a more grounded approach.

Where is your favourite X-Character now?

He's finally starting to get some good attention/respect after so much suck. Dark clouds might be on the horizon, though (missed the Astonishing boat again and the SI rumors could mean that all the current goodness will end up retconned), but I'm trying just to enjoy this while it lasts.

Where do you see your favourite X-Character in two years time (May 2010)?

I can't even guess. I hope for him to be a figure with more impact at that point. Seems like it's about time. But he could just as well have been killed off or remain wallpaper.

Hellion's powers had just increased, and he was running around with X-23 trying to save his best friend from the Facility. I expected things continue on a route where he would regain leadership of the New X-Men after Surge cracked under the pressure, as he did nothing but gain power and maturity at this point.

Who knows, somewhere on his own. The X-Men seemingly abandoned him after Messiah Complex. There appears to be a plan in the works to reform the X-Men, but Julian isn't in on it so he's a tad pissed at the situation.

Hopefully as a member of an X-Men strike team or X-Force. A possible relationship with Laura should be explored, as well as his personality conflicts with Xavier's Dream.

I had hoped he would have been featured as one of the members of Carey's X-Men after getting over his brain washing from Apocalypse as one of his Horsemen. Sadly after Carey's treatment of him last year, I guess I had hoped for too much.

In limbo like usual, with random (and out of character) appearances here and there. Unsure whether he's a Marauder or not still.

Either still a villain, in limbo, or dead. I wouldn't expect to see him too much or get any sort of development, aside from some random appearances where he spouts out some garbage and leaves.
