The EXILES: Where Do We Go Next?! Land of the Theoretic.

Everyone [presumably] knows who the Exiles are, so in the true vein of a 'what if' type thread, I beg to ask the question...where should they go next?!

Here are a handful of ideas to start you off:

- Exiles: Oz?

- Exiles: 1900 Britain, an AU where Wolverine was born centuries earlier.

- Exiles: Shadow King, a world where he and Moira MacTaggert rule Earth!

You know what... I thought about it some more. My first post was harsh, and really wasn't thought through too well.

It needs to be either they get a new writer and THEN they get Nocturne, Blink, and T-Bird back.

OR...

They go to the universe with Nocturne, Blink, and T-Bird. Then go to AoA and drop of Sabretooth. Then they go to the 616 and drop of Nocturne, Blink, T-Bird, Psylocke, and of course, the unequaled Sage there to be the Initiative Team for a non-lame state.

Cat, Morph, and Mystiq, meanwhile, will take up the mantle of defending the universe with Sage's guidance from the 616, only to end up eaten on an alternate Marvel Earth by a near starving Galactus.

I think many great suggestions have already been made. In particular, I approve of the "get another writer" suggestion, and in lieu of that "the recycle bin" suggestion could work for me.

I write to much. If you tell me to note what i would change, it could become a list longer than two pages because while trying to start on few points i'm going into more and more.

About complaining to marvel... its useless, they don't care about what some jack***es on the internet keep complaining about, hell they don't even care if we would send real letter to them.
The only thing that matters to marvel is the sales. If enought people keep buying it they won't change it.

So all of us who liked the old title more, make jokes or comments like this, knowing that nothing will change as long as old Claremont fanbase keeps buying it. Which must still be quite a lot of people, considering Marvels attempts to give him a title in which he can let his creativity berzerk out (Excalibur-> New Excalibur -> New Exiles).

I agree that there needs to be some sort of of mission that wipes out part of the current team. I would have the current team minus Sage, who would be in HQ, get starnded on a Earth that has been taken under the control of 616 Shadow King, for 12 issues/ a whole year. In Exiles time it would be 3 years that they are stranded for and in those three years Sabertooth will be the first to get possessed ditrectly by 616 Shadow King and kills 616 Psylocke' whos mini talus will send a sockwave after she dies distroying itself and Sabertooth's talus, stranding them all. After that, SK moves on to possess the president of the U.S. who'll take over the U.N. and become ruler of the world.

Sabertooth goes MIA after killing his "love" and the remaning exiles begin a war alongside the earth's reamining heroes( including a cap brtian telepathic Betsy) against SK and at the same time having Mr. Fantastic to find them away back to the Crystal Palace. More stuff happens and eventually 616 Psylocke returns from the dead thanks to this realities' Jamie Baddrock bringging her back from the death like 616 Jamie did, except he does his own additions to her, like adding telepathy with the butterfly effect, while depleting her telekenises to balance them out (she will also comeback with a costume that is a crossbreed between her ninja and outback costume, but remains asian in ethnicity).

By the end of the arc Kitty is possessed by SK, kills Mystiq and Sabertooth comes back for the final showdown where they kill Kitty but Sk escapes to another reality somehow, remaining as a new constant villian. Sage finally is able to locate them from the time strea and pulls them back to the Crystal Palace but for her its been only 7 minutes.

So by the end the team is:

Gambit (more rugged look) who is now going out with
Rogue ( she has a mohawk like storm had in the eighties)
Morph (bit mor mature n no cape maybe)
Psylocke
Sage

and Sabertooth decicedes to retire permanemtly with special guess appaerances in AOA reality.

So leaderless the New Exiles turn to Blink goign back to the reality where she and others went to, but see that she is missing, so they go in search for her with Nocturne and TB joining.

Eventually they find her but she has changed a lot, definetly more darker, wearing black only, as with Clan Akkaba tatoo showing in her left back shoulder and her right arm had been replaced by a black and green prostetic arm. She can also make long staff sized teleportation jewels that can teleport anything from 20 to 40 ft in its vicinity.

The following arc would have Psylocke and Sage going back to 616 where they belong and AOA X-Man (he'll free morph of Proteus) who came back due to HOM joining the Exiles and EVA from here Here Comes Tomorrow joining as well, taking Sages, knowledge from Roma into her systems in order to become her full replacement in HQ.

Finally the team would be:
Blink
Nocturne
Tunderbird
Morph
Rogue
Gambit
X-Man
E.V.A.

Ummm no, the relationship is a bad one thats why it would end, and she will die to comeback as a more classical Psylocke, with more classical powers, except that she would remain Asian and have telekinesis, to a lesser degree in order to not be too powerful or too much of an dus ex mechina, alongside her original telepathy. Also Shadow King is a good concept for a villian similar to Cassandra Nova, he is a parasyte that needs host and manipulates then to his will.

So if u read carefully, she doesn't comeback with totally! different powers but with just the addition of telepathy, and the way she is brought back is not convoluted at all.

She dies and is just simply brought back by a reality warper that happens to be her crazy brother in order to kill the guy thats ruining his reality.

Diana Fox makes a new body out of cellular matter on a the crystal palace sewer wall, and goes crazy. She kills Cat Pryde, AtlantaGambit, Sabertooth and Mystiq, who are suck.
She tries to kill morph, but instead, psychically sets off Proteus, who possesses Fox!
Sage feels bad, but gets over it.
Diana fox has the FOCUSED TOTALITY of Sage's powers, so Sage cannot defeat her alone.
She and Rogue schwoop off to Blink, Nocturne and Thunderbird and recruit them for help!

They come back to the midst of a Diana/Morph/Psylocke fight, But PrtusFox goes crazy and warps Psylocke into an English butterfly using telepath! Oh no!
Then everyone teams up and kills Diana FoxFail.
And Nocturne gives Rogue a new hairdo.

Is it possible that maybe we could have a universe where Rogue and Gambit don't date? I mean...the improbability of the relationship is so great that I find it ridiculous that they seem to decide to date in every single universe.

Rogue absorbs Sage and they become a gestalt, meaning we never have to hear about Rogue's angst about her powers since the TOTALITY of Sage's will keeps her powers fine and dandy. At this point, Rage will talk to Mephisto and convince him to make everyone in the multiverse, including us, the reader, forget about everything that's happened from CC taking over onward. The only person to remember would be Rage, so she'd go flying off into her buddy book with Wolverine.
