Dr. Strange / Was his ailment from his accident ever cured ?

Before becoming the sorcerer supreme, Dr. Strange had an accident where he lost the motor skills in his hands. He couldn't perform surgeries anymore because he couldn't hold a scalpel properly.

Then after some time, he became Dr. Strange.

Does anyone know if he has magically cured himself and fixed his ailments, and has the motor skills necessary for a surgeon again? If so, when did this happen? I really appreciate the info on this.

If not, then he can't do that which he loves doing most, being a surgeon and saving lives, even though he is disputedly the most powerful being on Earth.

no, his hand weren't healed. (see the Oath)
and if they were hulk has crushed them and now he has problems with his spells cause his hands were the the focal point

In his first series, he was able to perform a delicate operation on the Black Knight -- that would seem to indicate that his hands WERE healed at least to a certain extent.


There was a major problem with this "Hulk War" thing that went against many previously established principles in the Marvel Universe ...

1) Dr. Strange was always able to easily contain the Hulk via the Crimson Bands and it was well established that the Hulk could never break free -- that's taking into account "the madder I get, the stronger I get" concept.

2) In issue 300 of the Hulk when he became a complete Savage, Strange was able to banish him to another dimension without even working up a sweat. If he did that before, I see no reason why he couldn't / wouldn't do it again. And since the Hulk contains no mystical powers, it would have been much harder for him to return then from a distant planet still within our dimension.

3) We have repeatedly see Strange hold his own and even win against cosmic level beings. To write that he couldn't handle the Hulk is laughable.

... it's this type of inconsistent writing which got Marvel into trouble a few years ago where they nearly created a total mess of the Marvel Universe.
