The issue started off with Monica trying to shift to different frequencies of light so she could escape the energy field Killmonger had her in but he was prepared for that and he reduced the size of the globe witch cause her great pain.

Back in Wakanda BP and his advisors are wondering where Killmonger could have gotten a device that could capture her. His advisors think that it must come for the US but BP knows that the US would never supply an up-riser with an A1 ordnance like that. BP said that they must find out all of their opponents and who is Killmonger’s supplier. W’Kabi asked if Ororo was joining them and BP took offence after telling them last issue what she was doing and that Killmonger was there problem.

Killmonger goes on a PR stunt making promises to the people for their corporation in helping him defeat the USA’s lap dog Wakanda.

BP shows W’Kabi his secret weapon to surprise Killmonger. Its Mole Man’s drill he used when he tried to invade back in the day.

Killmonger sent some men into the prison cell of BP’s sister and the other guy. She wants to fight him but he said if she wanted him, she had to go thou them first.

BP asked Ironman for more help but S.H.I.E.L.D. couldn’t find any trace of where Killmonger got his tech. Tony figured that it most have come for someone like Dr. Doom, Mandarin, or the Leader. Both Tony and BP wrote off the Leader saying that he’s not that smart at the same time. Tony said he was glad that they were working together again and offered to send the Avenger, but BP said that would send the wrong message and thanked Tony for his help.

BP sister defeated a couple of the men and then killed one the other stood in shock.

BP riley the troops and said not to harm the civilians but close associates should be met with overwhelming force to teach a lesson. He said to leave Killmonger to him and he will not make a Martyr out of him but humiliate and defeat him once in for all.
His eldest advisor said he hated when BP makes oaths like that and that there were millions of reasons why BP couldn’t win that had no reflections on his ability. BP mother hated all this Honor talk and said they should use a laser from space and cauterize the whole area.

The only peace of dialogue I hated was when the two men said together “No one and I mean NO one is as hardcore as she is.” Whatever.

BP tried to call Storm but she didn’t answer.

They tried an air attack on Killmonger’s headquarters but he was prepared for that with more force fields. And he was using the Red Ghost mutated animals to attack the ground forces.

BP sprung up out of the grand in Mole Man’s drill and was ready to face Killmonger.

I'm starting to like his sister and I'm glad he's making nice with Tony.
Killmonger is Menacing here but it's not as good as Priest story arch. I really do think Hudlin is improving as a comic writer. His pacing and dialogue is much better and there no way someone can say that T’Challa is talking like an “African American” now. But it does slip in ever now and again with some of the other characters. Like when a old woman tried to get back into the village some of Killmonger’s soldiers tried to stop her. Wakandian soldiers killed them and she said “You’re not going to hunt that nice Mr. Killmonger, are you? He promised me a flat screen TV?” Horrible :rolleyes:

One question. Is there any indication of the involvement of the US Navy in the collusion between Killmonger and the Navy in BP's sisters capture? In the last issue we see the sister gasp and say, 'Oh, not him'. Then in this issue she is the prisoner of Killmonger, and she was aboard a US naval vessel, last issue. Did Killmonger kidnap BP's sister from the US Navy, or was there collusion?

It wasn’t stated in this issue but Killmonger does have ties to the US government but the US is not issuing him with the high grade technology. There is someone else behind the senses

I'll be interested just how the transfer from the naval vessel to Killmongers country of BP sister, came about. Either the US is cooperating in Killmongers kidnapping of the sister, or Killmonger captured her without the US Navy knowing. Why was Killmonger about that Naval ship? For the express purpose of attacking BP?

HMMMMMM...I didn't realize that....that point makes this book a little more interesting now...

They might want to use a skrull Storm without necessarily having Storm replaced by a Skrull though.

Storm seems to be out of town. A Skrull could easily show up in Wakanda while Storm is busy in the States.

I'd be surprised if they didn't tease at a switch, or pull a cliff hanger where Storm is 'revealed' a skrull. Not that I expect Storm to be a skrull, but the outrage and 'Ah-Ha!' response from both sides of the fence would be worth admission price alone ;)

Hmmm. Red Ghost technology makes mutant Crocodiles, and Monkeys tear heads of Wakanda troops. Wasn't the Red Ghost a Russian, and wasn't he operating as a lone agent? I haven't heard of him for ages, but this is a great way of using him, by Hudlin. Killmonger has been nuked, vibrabium tipped missiles attacked him, and Captain Marvel attacked him, and still his forcefiels held. Wasn't that one of Ghosties monkeys that had that power?

Very uncool of Killmonger to send in a bunch of kids to rape and beat Shari in her cell. There were no toilet facilities, just straw, and Shari was sharing with a male, with no privacy.

I like the idea of Mama Panther just burning the place with a laser, but that would kill her daughter, and not harm Killmonger. Panther really neede a black ops team to work under the radar while his troops attacked, and he bored a hole under Killmonger. That way, if Killmonger defeats Panther again, hopefully his siter is rescued, and then Panther will be captured. But the way he planned this assault, his tropps are defeated, and when Panther is beaten nothing will be achieved except his own capture.

I see the US government are using Killmonger to distract Wakanda from bothering the US anymore, so an attack on Wakanda is now out of the question, considering Tony Stark is offering Avenger support to Wakanda now.

So the Avengers had two Marvels, Monica and Carol, and coincidentally they both absorb energy signatures, as their power. Is that what Mar-vell does too? Absorb energy?

Any form of EM energy, IIRC. Glad to see her back to her classic costume, if nothing else. She needs an update, but Nextwave sure as hell wasn't it.
