So after Avengers is out in theaters. What should be the next Team Moive?

I think that the Runaways would translate best to the screen, though they would also work great as a television show. Oh, and a Great Lake Avengers movie must be made!

I agree. I think the Runaways would make a good movie with its plot and all.

Runaways would probably be a good guess, if they can accumulate the love from the men up stairs. It can be made without totally being a straight-up super hero cape movie, like Blade, and can generate the interest of demographics quite easily.

Hmm, I wonder how that'd work. It'd probably just be the first volume reformated into a 2 hour movie. But that'd be pretty difficult, you'd have to have the scene where they find out their parents were supervillains and sufficient build up to it (the party, show that each of the Runaways is a normal kid, etc).

Then they'd actually have to run away from their homes, and discover their own individual powers and proper explanations of them (which after a while might seem a bit contrived in movie format), then they'd have to fight their parents and win.

And that's just the basic skeleton, there's still developing the characters, romances and plot points (like deciding to fight their parents themselves or having a traitor in their midsts). And then there's the Gibborim, which of course they don't have to actually see (ala Galactus in the second Fantastic Four movie).

That's a lot for a two hour movie.

soooo...who to play Alex Wilder's dad?

James Avery from 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?' http://www.imdb.com/media/rm987273216/nm0043041

Steve Harris from 'The Practice?' http://www.imdb.com/media/rm189307392/nm0004996

or someone else?
