Conundrum :(

I have almost finished GTA4 and I only have enough money to spare for one brand new XBOX360 game....and I have whittle down my choices to 3 top titles. Or my other option is return to playing Oblivion, but I got somewhat far in that game and royally screwed myself over with vampirism and I dont really want to start over. Anyways, I want to get either Call of Duty 4, Lost Oddysey, or SKATE. One interesting stipulation is that I do not have XBOX live. So no live. What do I do?

With no Live, I'd say avoid CoD 4. It's a decent enough single-player experience, but kind of pointless without multiplayer.

As for SKATE vs. Lost Odyssey, I've played neither game. SKATE is better reviewed, but it's two completely different genres, two totally different games.

Both games have gotten good reviews, though SKATE seems to be getting the better reviews. You'll have to decided whether you like RPGs or skateboarding more. That or flip a coin.

While i haven't played the other two, the biggest appeal of CoD4 is the online, so you might want to pick one of the others.

I mean CoD has a decent single player but it's short...the real meat of the game is in multi.

I tried out the Skate demo. At first I liked it, but then Tony Hawk seems to be better since the controls mostly focuses on the right stick.

I haven't tried Lost Odyssey but heard it's really good. If you're into RPGs, I would say get this one. 'Cause Skate makes skateboarding complicated. Not saying it's a bad game. It just made it a little harder.
