I'd imagine there's a good chance. Do you also like Stephen King?

Personally, I didn't like it. David's working with someone else's creations and a collaborator so it doesn't really shine as a Peter David book.
You should at least give it a try, I can only speak for myself.

I have to say that while I love Peter David's writing, I'm only mediocre in my feelings towards The Dark Tower comics.
Never read the book series by King so I don't have that built in fandom for the story.

If you like comics you will like Dark Tower. Never read the book but it is consistently one of the best things Marvel publishes.

I'm pretty knowledgeable about the Dark Tower, but unfortunately not so familiar with Peter David's work. But I would start with the first couple issues of Gunslinger Born to see if you like it.
That said, the Dark Tower comics have definitely gotten better as they go along and the creators get more comfortable. Also, I think Peter David has more freedom in the current series (Long Road Home) since it covers events not precisely laid out in the books, so you may find it more to your liking.

Personally speaking, no. I have never read Stephen's books, but the movies are all boring, except for a handful. I liked "It", but what the f#$% was the end? I liked "Green Mile", but all these tears it gets boring. I tried to like "The Shinning". Nicholson and Kubrick? What more can you ask? Boring...
So I tried Dark Tower, the first series, only because of David, cause he is one of the greatest writers for me. I stopped reading at #4 and I'm not selling the book cause it says "Peter David" on the cover. It's not David's fault though, really. The story is boring. Though I think David is a huge King fan.

Dude, if you haven't actually read Stephen King's books, then you don't know anything about his writing. You can't possibly judge an author based on the movie adaptations of his stories. Speaking as somebody who's read most of what King has written, I can tell you that the reason why most movies based on his stories don't work is because it's impossible to cram everything he does in a novel into just 2 hours, or even 4 or 6 hours. There are too many characters, too many nuances. Too much gets lost and/or compromised, and screenwriters and directors will always have their own agendas.
Having said that, I'm also a huge Peter David fan, and have read just about everything he's done, both novels and comics. It's clear to me that David "gets" King, and does a great job of translating his work to comics. It's not pure David, of course, but if he's doing the story justice, you wouldn't expect it to be. The Dark Tower books have a very specific "voice" and tone, and he has to be true to that. And he is. His love for King's work shines through.
And by the way, the painted artwork in these books is just plain beautiful!

Actually what I don't like about King's movies are the story and the endings. His ending are terrible, imo. Though I recognize that I can't judge King by the movies, but I think I can get the feeling.

I don't want to spoil anything but the ending of "It" is directly related to the Dark Tower novels. Considering the whole work of King, most of his novels are related to the Dark Tower.
The comics really captured the tone of the DT novels. It sure is different from Hulk or X-factor... Personnaly I love both.

Once again, if you haven't actually read a Stephen King book, you have nothing to base this judgment on. As somebody who has read his books, I can tell you that in most cases, Hollywood changes the endings. And the middles. And sometimes the beginnings.
But most importantly, even if the ending is the same, there's no way it's going to make sense if you've crammed a 500+ page novel with 10-20 characters into a 2-4 hour movie with 3-5 characters. The ending of any movie is a product of the story that leads up to it -- short change the story, and the ending will always seem insufficient. In "It" for instance, there's a whole depth of story that happens in the novel that couldn't possibly be handled in a TV adaptation.
Unless King is writing the screenplay and/or directing the film, the endings of these adaptations have nothing to do with him.

OK, I think you are right. I just don't like the supernatural elements being used, the way they are used. That is exactly where my problem is.
