Well *crosses fingers*, here's hoping that someday soon someone in Marvel actually writes it because something along those lines needs to be written. House of M/M-Day emotionally stripped Magneto down further than he had been since the night his daughter died and his wife left him. It took away everything he was and everything he worked for. I refuse to believe that it was so meaningless to him that he is randomly wandering around the landscape acting blase' about it all.

What would be awesome and so running to type right now, is if the heroes took out the current Magneto and discovered he was a skrull, and heroes the skulls had captured had seen him in custody and knew where he was....and everyone left him there.

And while he is in that holding tank, unconcious, he kind of goes through this inner journey where he looks at the wreckage his life became leading up and including M-Day, and he got there. He doesn't have to come out of it this completely emotionally healed, wonderful nice person, but he could deal with one of his many emotional issues, which is his tendency to blame fate for everything rather than take responsibility for his choices. He could find a reason to keep going and a new direction to go in. Not Xavier way, he's been there, done that. Xavier's dream failed him, but something new.

With the right artist, that could be an incredible double sized one shot to three or four issue mini.

I think that baby would somehow survive the trip to the clinic that TJ took. I mean, between grandma Wanda's probability altering powers, and the enhanced strength, durability, and healing potential of T-Bird from Exiles... if a fanfic writer wanted to go for the jugular on shock factor, well hell yes, that's how you'd do it.
