HI Tony. I just purchased Birds of Prey #109 to #117, this weekend. I know you are taking over for Sean McKeever. And listen I loved Marvel Adventures Avengers #5 to #8. I'm going to be a regular BoP reader again as long as it's in your able hands Tony. I just wanted to know what your premise for BoP is going to be and what direction will you be taking the book ?

Also, I just wanted to ask if you are thinking of putting Black Canary back as a member of the team sometime in the future during your tenure? If not, will you make Black Canary do guest appearances in the series? The Oracle, Huntress, and Black Canary chemistry was done well by the prior scribe.

More power to you Tony Bedard.

Great direction Tony. I just read up to #118. I like the way the "sisters" arc is being explored. It's a good direction to utilize those girls. You have a reader here on your complete run on BoP. Great job so far man.

I'm sure since the BIRDS will be moving to Plantinum Flatts that a lot of the up coming stories will be taking place there, but I do hope we'll get to see Oracle sending the BIRDS to various parts of the world. That was one of the cool aspects of the seires when it first began; Barbara sending Dinah on James Bond type missions. I enjoyed Gail Simone's last run largely impart because it was set in Russia which just added to the nuances of the story.

I also hope we get to see the ladies interact on a more personal note which has been lacking since Gail left. It's just been business, followed by estrangement for the last few issues, followed by more business.

Tony, I remember in another thread you mentioned we'd be getting a bit of Helena back in the classroom. I can't tell you how happy that makes me. Any chance Helena will be mentoring Misfit as well? It's hard to believe Babs would allow Misfit onto the team without any guidance or training, especially considering the stakes involved. I think that's one of the reasons I've had a difficult time embracing Misfit in the title. She just seems to be there for light hearted comic relief (which is neccessary at times) but Babs has always run a sophisticated operation with life and death impliciations.

I'm really looking forward to Joker showing up. I even re-read The Kiling Joke today. It still pisses me off, Joker shooting Babs and then stripping her naked, photographing her to terrorize Gordon with it. And don't let me get started on what that SOB did to Huntress in NML.

I have no ideas what you're plans are but hopefully somehow it will bring Babs and Helena closer. I'm always of the mind there should be a little tension in their relationship, just giving their antagonistic history. But it's also nice when they move closer, even if it's baby steps, and unconsciously, to really appreciating, depending, and caring for one another. I remember when Babs, Dinah, and Helena were looking on as Babs building was on fire and Helena reaching down to hold Babs hands. It shocked Babs, probably us, but it was cool as hell. Small baby steps.

Alex, love that detailed well thought out answer. It's very much appreciated man.

Personally, I just want Spy Smasher to show up again for a rematch with Oracle. And this time Manhunter and Huntress to handicap her again.
