....after 28 years, it looks like Deodato isn’t quite finished spinning cannibalistic yarns. B-D has scored the sales poster art (above) for his latest, simply titled CANNIBALS. I’m not sure if this is some sort of sequel or an all-new story. However, the tagline right above the title does say, “This time they are no longer in the jungle.” So it looks like this one wants to be associated with HOLOCAUST in some way. I mean, the “I” in CANNIBALS is even the famous image of the impaled native woman.
As a youngster, Cannibal Holocaust was extreme, but growing older, now, it's just okay. It'll gross out some people still, but it's gore porn.
I still want to check this one out.
