who here watched, or at least saw the short lived "Profit" tv series, and who would want to see it revamped and brought back?

Where do I sign up for that? :-) Profit was way ahead of its time. For sure one of my top 10 series. That guy was evil. On of the best evil characters in tv and movie history. Now, whenever I watch Heroes, I see Profit, not Nathan Petrelli.

Jim Profit is one of the truly great television characters of all time.

Totally twisted.

No, why revamp a very interesting groundbreaking show like Profit? Lets just endlessly make US versions of British shows which were not that good to begin with.

What he said. Profit was a light that burned twice as bright, and hence only half as long, way back in 1996. Yet today it would be right at home on the likes of FX, HBO, or Showtime; truly an underrated trailblazer. I caught the unaired episodes when they replayed the series on Trio and then picked up the Profit DVD set last year. I don't know how I'd feel about a "revamp" with another actor playing Profit, since Pasdar is so imprinted on my brain as Jim Profit (along with Lisa Blount as Bobbi and Keith Szarabajka as Chaz Gracen). A show that is similar in tone and concept to Profit, as opposed to one that just slavishly apes every detail of the original, would be a better idea, imo. Profit's one of my all-time favorite "unjustly canceled in its first season" TV shows, along with American Gothic (which also had a villainous lead in Gary Cole's Sheriff Lucas).

One of my favorite shows ever. The whole cast was spot on and like others have said was way ahead of it's time and died a quick death because of it. The stories where interesting and Jim Profit was a vile piece of shit you could not help but kind of like.

Have been watching it on the Chiller channel for awhile now.
