I didn't notice another thread.

Full schedule here. (http://www.thefutoncritic.com/guide.aspx?id=fall_2008)

Some random stuff -

Most networks are keeping things the same.

New JJ Abrams (Lost) X-File-type show - Fringe will be on Tuesdays at 9/8C where House usually is. House gets moved to 8/7C.

New Joss Wheon(Buffy/Angel/Firefly) show - Dollhouse will be on Mondays at 8/7C on FOX starting in January. Terminator: SCC will be in that timeslot in the Fall while Prison Break moves an hour later. Which is actually kind of good considering of the 3 Fox shows to premiere last year at that time -(K-Ville in the Fall, Terminator:SCC in Jan, New Amsterdam in Spring) only T:SCC survived. The one that premiered in Jan. Good timeslot I guess.

New series Life on Mars based on a BBC series will air after Grey's Anatomy in ABC on Thursdays.

Knight Rider movie must of done good enough for them to make a series on Wed at 8/7C putting it up against Pushing Daisies. If FOX sticks with its Jan 2009 plans they'll both be against House as well.

It's on the schedule that JWD linked to. However, the schedule isn't complete. Neither Lost nor Reaper are on there yet. Also, apparently, Bruno Heller and other execs at CBS watch Psyche by the looks of it from the description of The Mentalist (http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch.aspx?id=mentalist).

I'm not quite how shows like Sarah Conner are going to work. It's timeslot gets taken over by something else in '09, but it doesn't seem to move to another one itself. Seems like they're scheduled for short runs now without public plans what to do if they get renewed for a full season.

Plus, FOX is totally screwing with Bones. It started out on Tuesday, moved to Monday for the short season after the writer's strike this year, goes to Wednesday for fall of '08, but then ends up on Friday for the spring '09 schedule. It's like they have no concept of how to keep a show on the air.

I heard about Reaper, they are renewing the show for about 13 episodes. Some were claiming that is a bad sign as the show may get cancelled once the sweeps come in.

CW is also bringing back 90210 but with two of the original Beverly Hills 90210 cast returning while the series will be centered around a new cast. The plot concept is the same as the original.

If a show like 90210 can be brought back I would like to see Firefly return but considering that the movie was a box office failure I dont think any network is in that much of a hurry to bring the show back on the air.

While browsing for spoilers, of which there are very few, it definitely is, and apparently the season is going to be split into two volumes.

Hope that writers strike dont hurt the show any. The second season of Heroes was doing pretty well before the stirke put them on hiatus.

Reaper and Lost won't be back in the Fall. Lost returns in January. Reaper is a midseason replacement.

Except Bones is going into Season 4, so they obviously have done stuff right with that show. I mean its a great show but I didn't expect it to last til the third season.

Now Dark Angel, Tru Calling good examples of fox screwing up, I don't think you could say that about shows like Bones and House.

Yep. Some networks haven't set times and dates for their midseason shows yet. FOX usually does but they almost always change it. I wouldn't worry to much about Bones moving. It's been set to move to Fridays midseason the last 2 years but it never does.

Things will change - shows won't do as good or others will do better than they thought so they'll shuffle things around to try and improve ratings or they might cancel some of them.

I doubt we'll see a definate schedule on the midseason shows until after Nov sweeps.

Like others noted - I just mentioned a few shows and not even all the ones I'll watch.. Heroes is back and I plan to watch it. :-)

The Good: People will be watching MyNetwork for SmackDown!
The Bad: That's pretty much it for MyNetwork.

Someone at Fox is obviously trying to get Bones cancelled, that's the only real reason they shuffled shows around like that, especially to Fridays.

And to be honest, I've almost completely given up on tv now, with a few minor exceptions.

Soo... psych redux, eleventh hour re-done and How I met Your Mother, but with a woman...

very unique.

At least Rufus Sewell is good casting.

Wow, my Mondays and Thursdays are going to be busy... again. Thankfully more and more networks are airing things online because my DVR won't be able to keep up.

Getting the Friday DEATH SLOT by Fox pretty much shows they don't care for Bones anymore. I'd think with 2 pretty decent lead stars , a good sexual dynamic and shit...this show would be a good thing to hype for Fox . Little did I know.... its Fox and they pretty much watched Arrested Developement die a fuckin death.

FOX threatened to move it to Friday last season too, and nothing ever came of it. I think Bones will succeed where ever it goes. It has the audeience and it's been bounced around quite a bit since it started. I think it will be fine.

Me, too, and quite literally. My old tv set needs to be replaced this year, but I don't want to pay a high price to buy into HDTV just at a time when all the stragglers are being forced into it without a choice. So, if I watch any television shows this next season, it will be on my computer, either at the network sites or YouTube. Besides, I get bad reception in my current location and the local cable monopoly wants at least $60 a month. Actually, they want more like $70, but I'm already getting high-speed internet from them, so there would be a small price break if I got cable tv from them, too.

Actually they did aired a few episodes of Bones on Fridays in January but it all reruns than.

What I like to know if shows like American Idol and Hell's Kitchen is so bullet-proof why don't they move those to Fridays?
