So I was thinking about stuff like "The Laws of Anime" and also the fear over the black hole experiment in the other thread and it made me think it'd be neat to put together an official list of laws that superhero comics follow. Any thoughts? I'll update the list as it comes along.

For example, our first three laws:

1. If your name sounds like anything at all, you will become a villain.
EXAMPLE: Victor Freis = Mister Freeze

2. Science experiments ALWAYS go wrong.

3. If a female heroine becomes a vilain, they will quickly start to wear less clothes.
-COROLLARY: If you're Supergirl, you will either wear MORE clothes or the same amount of clothes you had before.

Additions:
4. Dead is never really dead. Just kind of mostly dead until somebody has an idea.
-COROLLARY: They're only dead if you have a body. And even then only maybe.

That's a variant of Roy Thomas' dictum: "They're only dead if you have a body and even then only maybe."

Doesn't Black Mary wear more than she did as Mary Marvel?

Doesn't Black Mary wear more than she did as Mary Marvel?

Nope. Her skirt was longer and she had a cape.
