Hi,
Have been desperately trying to find out if anyone knows the name of a comic and can possibly also help me track it down. The name on its own would help, of course.
I found it in the school library when I was about 14, so it must have been some time around 1993-4 although I have no idea of its actual age. Of course it was so good I immediately slipped it into my pocket and permanently borrowed it.
It didn't have a cover so I never knew what it was called and was in mono, with fairly average drawing. Not childlike or poor, but not shaded and highly detailed either.
I lost it in a house move in the '90s.
I think this is what happened in it but the details are sketchy so details may not be correct:
The story was about some characters who found themselves in a strange world (maybe it was their own world, I can't remember) terrorised by two or three big creatures that meant the people couldn't come out at night. The big creature I can remember was a thing that I think was called The Bulk. It was a big head with a nose on, not unlike a Nosepass from Pokémon (picture attached) but more rounded and aggressive looking with bigger ears and nose, and it travelled on caterpillar tracks. At night it would come out and eat up all the trees and spit out big concrete blocks behind it. I don't remember the other bad creatures, if indeed there were any, like I say, the details are sketchy, it's been over 10 years.
It had a very '70s feel to it, very trippy, hippie-like save the world attitude because it was about removing the concrete and letting things be natural.
If anyone can help me with the name, author, anything like that I'd truly appreciate it.
Many thanks.
