I love all the golden age comics & classic newspaper strip reprints they have up there too.

They've got all of Alan Moore's Supreme issues.

And be sure to grab all the Swords of the Swashbucklers issues and Mantlo: A Life In Comics, even if you have no interest in reading them. The advertising revenue goes towards Bill Mantlo's medical care.

Or not from America...

Hope it becomes available to the international community soon. It sounds rather nifty.

Tried to sign up via email a while ago (don't have an anymous gmail type they forbid either)but never got my activation email and haven't got around to trying again using one of their other methods.

Saw they got Artesia, which is a good book, but only the stuff I already have in trades.

Just what is their business model anyway? Ad supported? The little I browsed was all free downloads.

Well obviously you'd have to be mad not to live in America.

Sorry, forgot about the stupid only US rule...

The business model is ad supported. I get 25 cents when someone downloads an issue and Wowio slips in a couple house ads and one from someone else. All the ads are at the beginning and end so your comic experience is uninterrupted.

I just hope they open it up sooner than later. It's Canada we share your TV stations, let us share stuff we really, really want!

Pantheon was a darn good miniseries though.

Please look under comic publishers for "Tin Star Studios" for issues of my book "Furious Fist of the Drunken Monkey". An alcoholic chimp who fights crime. Everyone loves chimps, right?
