...looks better than the last one. And the coloring job on this last issue I just received is insane, one of the best I've ever had on any book I've worked on.

I AM HAPPY.

That's awesome. happy writers +artists make dynamic teams. We get great stories.

I was gonna request a team up with Big Barda because I loved the way you wrote her, but that can't happen. :frown: Still she's one of the people I would have wanted to appear, besides Black Canary or Huntress.

I saw the WW#20 pages and went nuts!

LOVED everything, the art, the costume changes, the colors, the writing

This makes me wonder... just how far ahead are you now? since you have seen colored issues of atleast two :P

I´m guessing Gail´s already pening down issue 22, with the basic plots of up to issue 25 jumping around in her head.

Unless she´s like one of those maniacs who already has all the major plotlines in her head for the next 30 issues...

I WISH!

I really don't work that far ahead. I'm a compulsive nit-picker and work on the scripts til the last possible moment or later. :)

and i noticed that you didn't actually answer the question

But as far as i know.. the artist needs 4 weeks , my guess is inker also needs 3-4 weeks.. colorist the same.. one issue out this week.. looks like one more issue in the can.. sooo..

Aarons working on issue issue 23 or 24 now... correct? :P

Dear Gail,

I'm curious about how far ahead you have WW planned. I get the sense that you have a really good idea of the basic stories and themes that you want to explore fairly far into the future, even if you are a last-minute person when it comes to doing the scripts. Is this correct?

Like everyone else, I'm really intrigued and excited by the art in the upcoming issue. Comics are, after all, a visual medium, and the art makes an incredible difference in the overall experience. And the bit of the story that we've seen is also intriguing.

Take care,

Shaun

Yeah if only #20 came out last week, I could have had it signed at the Con, instead I'll have to wait till tommorrow.

Gail;
I saw his work in 0 and as long he keeps drawing hot half naked Manazons I will be happy. By the way do they need a Queen since the Amazons got one already!

I believe the preferred term is "issues of color."

Who was the colorist?

Brad Anderson, it looks like. Works a lot with Pete Woods these days; also does-- or at least did, as he was absent from the latest issue-- Supergirl.

He's one of the business's best.

Well, a happy writer makes for happy... um.

Something will come to me.

Really, most of the cliches I know are about how great art comes through suffering. So maybe we should be wishing for an UNHAPPY Gail.
