Yellow lanterns are .... yellow!

The comical streak in me says that Green rings/lanterns are for those without fear, and yellow lanterns/rings should be for those who chicken out on fights - IOW, for people like me, who have a yellow streak a mile wide.

The yellow ring, of course, will have the fastest acceleration in the universe, to get the wearer out of harm's way before anyone can get him into a fight. :biggrin:

Abin Sur was a traditional green lantern.

I seem to remember a parody of a sci-fi story, where the explorers were chosen for their cowardice, because, the moment they met an alien species, they'd chicken out and run like hell - this would avoid an interstellar war.

And, of course, I think that Bizarro's world has a yellow lantern - and he am good hero.
