Well, I don't know if you're a fan of the previous DBZ games, (I'm a huge fan of Budokai Tenkaichi series except part 1 since it was basically like a test game for 2 and 3) but there's a new one coming about. Is not like Tenkaichi so it's a 2D fight.

Anyway, I'm waiting for the 3D fight, if they're thinking about making one like Tenkai.
It's coming about for 360 and PS3. Said to have online battles. (which is good) Coming next month.
edit: And here's a video (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/865/865030p1.html).
Well, if anything, I'll reserve it. Since it'll have online play, it kinda satisfy me knowing I'll get to fight people.

Looks good, but it's really following the formula that has been present in the last several Budokai games.

Yeah, only thing different about it is improve graphics and maybe some new move slots.

It only goes up to the Cell Saga... personally i don't see the point of this.
It's just ripping off the fans from the more powerful characters, eg. higher super saiyan levels and fusion techniques.
If they are planning to drag out the Burst Limit series as long as Budokai and Tenkaichi have been then its just moneymaking on a cashcow.

I liked the Tenkaichi games well enough, but the previous Budokai titles before that were pretty awful. Though it is a new team so I'll keep as optismtic as possible for a DBZ game

I downloaded the demo from PSN and it's the same old crap. Poor excuse of a fighter

What I can't stand about the DBZ fighting games is that they tend to end at the Cell saga. While I'll admit it looks a little good, a part of me is stating that this is just another means to make a quick buck.

I enjoyed the demo, but I'm not a DBZ fan so it's all kinda new to me. The mid-fight cutscenes are awful, though.

I downloaded the demo and it felt pretty button mashy. Perhaps its just that it was because it only had early battles where strategy isn't really required. The cell shading was really nice though.

Yeah, the cutscenes and dialog was unbelievably awful, even when compared to usual standards of a DBZ game.
Overall, I would say the demo was a solid meh, it wasn't near as bad as I remember the old Budokai games, but not quite as fun as the Tenkaichi series. I may give it a lazy day rental sometimes, but I can't say I was overly impressed with it.

Can't say I was impressed with the demo. I'll stay away from it when it comes out
