Sorry to bring up another scandal.
Read about this in the morning. There's a couple of videos of an apparently french stewardess stripping in the airplane's cockpit for the flight crew. One was during a flight where she stripped down to very little, being groped a little by the pilot and co-pilot, and then going out to parade a bit in the aisles. The other video was taken during a training flight.
An investigation is being made to find out who the stewardess and the flight crew are to be reprimanded or fired (one source states that the video was made and a now defunct French airline). Most of the comments are outraged that such a thing happened and talked about how serious and dangerous was the event.
Eh, to me is doesn't seem that serious an offence. Sure they should be reprimended but really nowadays once the plane is in the air and on its way it's pretty much put on auto-pilot and the crew just sits back like the passengers until they get near their destination.
She's built pretty well too.
If I'm in a plane at 35,000 feet, I don't care how well built the stewardess is, I want the pilot's attention on flying the fucking plane.

Yeah - I want the pilots paying attention to keeping my ass up in the air, not on grabbing a stewardess' ass.
Not to mention parading down the aisle. Who else was on this flight?
It's not a serious offense until a plane comes down from it.

Ahh, cut them some slack. They're French, it's not like this was some Puritanical US airline or anything.

I find this disturbing and infuriating on a personal level.
On all the articles I'm finding, the first video has been taken down. At least the second one is still up.

It seems fairly simple to me. Unless you're a stripper, you shouldn't be stripping on the job. There are such things as rules of professional behavior, and if they choose not to abide by them, then the company has every right to replace them with someone who will.

Especially outrage about a story that's months old.

I like to keep my outrage at a distance, thus getting some needed time to get a good frothy outrage going.

Am I wrong to be upset that they didn't strip for the passengers?
That's just RUDE!
To bad Hooters Air (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooters_Air) is no more.
Actually, during cruise, the planes are mostly flying themselves. So the pilots are probably looking for anything to keep themselves occupied. At least watching the stewardess they're awake. They had those other pilots who fell asleep during cruise and woke up like 20 minutes outside of Denver. Luckily in time to land.
