John's Action and Morrison's Batman...kind of similar

Am I alone to notice some similarities in these two writers takes on their characters. Slightly strange and surreal, and a lot for "cool", than they have been portrayed in ages. I think Johns has written Superman slightly like Morrison's All Star portrayal . Am I alone in this?
