Is there a comprehensive breakdown of which sections of 52 were written by which writer?

I don't think there is a breakdown, but if I'm mistaken, I'd love to see it. Last I remember reading, the writers purposely made it ambiguous because they didn't want any one writer to take all the credit for any good ideas, nor all the blame for any bad ones. Though, I do remember hearing some rumblings about the color of the title each month, or something like that, being a tip-off to the creative team chiefly involved with that issue. No idea if there's any validity to this, however.

Everybody pitched in on every storyline, but I think it mainly broke down like this:
Johns: Black Adam, Booster Gold
Waid: Ralph Dibny
Morrison: Animal Man/Starfire/Adam Strange, Will Magnus/Oolong Island
Rucka: Renee Montoya/Question
I'm not sure about the Lex/Steel/Everyman storyline.

I remember reading that every writer took turns writing each of the major characters, with the exception that Rucka always wrote Renee Montoya.

I'm not sure about the Lex/Steel/Everyman storyline.
I seem to remember comments from the writers that Waid was the driving force behind the Steel storyline.

From what I understood from the interviews every writter wrote or gave ideas for every storyline, but each of them had control over some specific storyline. From what i understood here`s who mainly wrote each character:
Doc. Magnus/ crazy scientists: Grant Morrison
Ralph Dibny: Mark Waid
Animal Man/ Starfire/ Adam Strange: Grant Morrison
Black Adam: Geoff Johns
Rene Montoya/ Question: Greg Rucka
Steel: Geoff Johns/Greg Rucka
Booster Gold: Geoff Johns/Mark Waid
PS:Oh man, that was a fine comic book:tongue:

I thought that Giffen was the majority of the writing for the Four horsemen, even though it was a Grant Morrison idea... After all he did do the followup miniseries.
