We did, his name is Guy Gardner. Had a whole series back in the 90's. He wore cowboy boots.

Lobo isn't a hero, or even an anti-hero. He committed genocide against his planet and will kill anyone for the sheer joy of it. That pretty much makes him a villain.

It entirely possible to be an evil bastard and still be on the right side of the law. Especially for Lobo, who has always been a parody anyway. Hell, he was in LEGION for years, but Vril Dox is the only person in the universe who is actually a bigger bastard than Lobo.

Anyway, I'm not sure Lobo would be a Yellow Lantern, since one of the other Yellow Lanterns eats Apace Dolphins and that gives the whole damn Corps a shorter life expectancy if Lobo catches them.

Really, if you think about it, Lobo could be any color lantern. Will, love, hate, fear, greed; even hope as in "I hope Lobo doesn't show up" :tongue: or Black since he came back from the dead.
