I seriously doubt it, as Superboy is now weighed down with a heavy load of legal baggage. DC wouldn't be able to sell enough comics to make it worth the trouble.

No, and I don't think the decision to kill him off was because of the lawsuit. Otherwise they could have just called him "Kon-El" (like Donna Troy).
I think he comes back in BLACKEST NIGHT and targets Chris Kent (because Superman treats him as a son and never did the same for him). I believe that the Black Lanterns will be more than zombies and have the same desires they did when alive--only they'll be without morals.

With Superman-Prime already on the loose, would it possibly be redundant to have yet another disgruntled Kryptonian (or part-Kryptonian) youth on the rampage?

No. Because Kon would die again.

Chris Kent is kind of busy... being lost in the Negative Zone.
I mean maybe that will be resolved by Blackest Night, but its a state that could also linger for the next 20 years or so.

I sure hope Annihilus and Blastaar raise him right, otherwise the kid could wind up severely warped.

I don't think Black Lanterns will be evil.
I mean, some may. But I imagine they'll mainly just be moody and creepy.
And even if they are evil? I expect at least one to supress the "evil".
Conner or Kal-L might fit.
Hm. There's a weird thought. Kal-L as stoic king of a galactic zombie empire, the inspiring force who keeps in check the anger of the living dead.

Sorry. I'd just finished reading an old copy of Fantastic Four.
Phantoms, Negatives, what's the difference?

He'll be back. And Evil Conner (tm) will be gunning for him.

There is no legal issue with Wonder Girl. However, DC recently lost the right to use the Superboy name, as a court awarded the copyright back to Jerry Siegel's family. I might be off a bit on that, but I think I'm pretty close. That's why Superboy-Prime became Superman-Prime after INFINITE CRISIS.
HOWEVER!!
The solicit on Newsarama for LEGION OF THREE WORLDS lists him as Superboy-Prime again.
Hmmmmm.

Indeed. Look at all the evil Supermen. There's a ton of those.
Besides, I'd be into a villainous Kon-El. And from what the "Titans of Tomorrow" storyline has shown, it takes a lot less than a destroyed universe to turn that Superboy evil.

"PHANTOM" zone not negative zone, phantom as in ghost lol, and anyway the whole time line with Chris Kent is messed up, the issue of Superman where they give Chris the red sun watch takes places after the fight with Zod Batman even confirms that in the issue itself saying about how they stopped the Kryptonian thingy (I forgot what word he actually uses :S)

I wonder if, assuming DC can use Superboy again they will revise Superman's history yet again so that now he was Superboy as well?

They have already established the fact that Superman was Superboy since Infinite Crisis/End of 52,Justice League of America #0, JSA/JLA Lightning Saga, Action Comic's Superman and the Legion of Super-heroes.
