...and read the first issue of David and while I have heard numerous times that it is very, very different from Slott's I can deal.
Just gotta know, does it maintain any of the humour, or is it even a decent read? And have the dangling plot points been looked at yet?

It has occasional humour, the danglers have not really been addressed yet and it's an otherwise decent book. It's just not Slott's book.

And of course the whole concept is different. I hope Peter gets around to telling us why Shulkie is no longer practicing law and why she became a bounty hunter (and I wouldn't mind knowing where the Skrull sidekick came from). But in fairness, I think we'll be learning some of this in the next issue based on what has happened in the last issue.

It does have humor, but it's not the all-out crack that Slott wrote. It's more like a subtle sarcasm, which always gets me chucklin'.

It's a slower read in some respects and I initially (and still do) disagree with the hands off Tony Stark approach, but it's a good book. The humor is not as evident-but then they haven't turned date rape into a joke either-but you can't expect really high level humor given the pit of moral bankrupzty and despair the mu currently is.

The humor is less, but still just as great. The last issue especially had humor that sticks with you. So I would recommend you at least try the current arc. After that you can decide for yourself.

That's vintage PAD from what I can remember. I started reading continuously during the Hulk's "Professor" days, and always remember having at least one or two chuckles during each issue. The banter with the Pantheon was always funny.

Agreed.
I've liked PAD's run a lot so far. It is world's different than Slotts though.

I think David's run has been good so far, and has made me laugh. Next issue we actually find out why she is no longer practicing law. She-Hulk it seems always has good writers, I've read some of Byrne's all of Slott's and now David's. She is such a great character it's hard to go wrong with her it seems.
